Chris has seventeen years of real estate and finance experience. His experience includes acquisitions, development, investment banking and investment management; with acquisition officer responsibility for approximately $600 million in investment across asset classes and in multiple U.S. markets. Prior to partnering with Mike Ecklund and Christian Chamberlain in 2008, Chris was an Associate at The Lionstone Group, a Houston based private equity firm that focuses on urban real estate investments. While at Lionstone, Chris sourced and had direct responsibility for over $350 million in acquisitions and development in Houston and Dallas. Prior to Lionstone, Chris worked as an Associate at MetroNational, a privately owned Houston based developer, where his responsibilities included analyzing various acquisitions and new developments. From 2001-2003 Chris worked as an Analyst at Jefferies & Company in its Energy Investment Banking Group. At Jefferies, Chris worked on over $650 million in public and private capital markets transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Chris received a BBA in Finance at the University of Texas at Austin.
